Is it a SPAD?

Postby BEX » Mon Mar 01, 2010 8:41 pm

Ive heard many flyers say that spads are ugly , fly like bricks , weight a ton, not worth the time spent on them . On all of those accounts but one i had them look on their nose . Unfortunately im not the patient tipe , so i have to use someone elses model for the pretty part.

Hectic, I never knew you could do THAT type of building with it! Would you recommend if I wanted to enter the aeri world to go with a SPAD first?

I started out with a foamy , then Balsa , and then i progressed to SPADS ;) . Spads can be an excelent first plane , just take care to build it right. I have plans for a easy to build lightweiht trainer. see the video below for the maiden flight of the first prototipe.
