if my a123 packs were human, it would be a love affair! er...maybe marriage with children. have lost countt of the number of cycles on my 1100 packs. still puting in 950mah if i run them down that bad. louis charge one in 13minute and flew his hdx 450 on them last night, loops and rolls etc. never thought these little packs could do that on a 450.

that would be 4s1p cell 1100. the 18650's. teeny little cells on the 450 with louis have i think a 3200 kv motor. quite a nerve wracking event. about 180g for those packs.

Bex,

For learning to fly and up to sport lfying, nothing will beat A123.. and with the 4000kv motor you ordred, they will work very well!.. (3s1p 2300mah).

Nothing beats the, fly 5 - 8 min, land, charge in 10 min, fly again. I only have 1p pack, and if 2 people are flying, I simply charge while they flying, as soon as they land, I can fly again.

All my aircraft are being converted slowley as the Lipo's are dieing. I have 2 x 5s1p's , 1 x 3s1p, and 1x 2s1p. With those combonations I can fly almost anything. I simply installed bullet connectors on all the packs, so hooking them up in serie is no problem (no extra wires need) and parallel i have simply Y lead made up.

mine all 6mm (way overkill), rated at 200a+

3mm or 4mm will be fine.
